ECC Families,

Good morning. It's hard to believe this week is the end of June already! Just a quick reminder our center will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. As we move into July we hope to bring a few in house center wide activities. We will be having a visit from Coach Patty for some fun creative water play. Our July menu will go out tomorrow as an email from your child's teacher. We are also navigating through all of the information regarding COVID-19 and what this means for us in the new school year. I know we will be making some changes to our paperwork and will be sending it out to all families as soon as possible. For now we will continue with our current procedures with a few updates to accommodate moving back to our normal business hours on Wednesday, July 1. Please make sure if you plan to drop off before 7:30 AM beginning Wednesday that you have filled out the first sign up genius for 7/1 through 7/10. As we move into July more families will be taking vacation time please make sure to let us know in advance when your child will be gone for an extended period of time. Many of our staff will be taking vacation time as well so it is important we are able to know how many students will be in each class each day so we can plan accordingly and still maintain our groups. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a wonderful Fourth of July holiday!

Return to Normal Business Hours
An email was sent out last Thursday in regards to returning to our normal business hours on July 1. We are going to be asking all teachers to send emails out to their families to find out a typical schedule for their child. This will include drop off and pick up times. The morning drop off is our biggest concern right now so if you are going to need to drop your child off prior to 7:30 AM you need to respond to the email that was sent out last week. I have included a copy below in case you did not receive it. Please understand if you do not respond to this email and bring your child prior to 7:30 AM you will not be able to leave them.

Recovery Phase II *Updated*
The guidance for Phase II will remain in affect and can be reviewed in the link. Some additional guidance as we return to our normal business hours can be found below.

  1. In order to drop your child off before 7:30 AM you must sign them up for each day you will need to drop them off before 7:30 AM.
  2. You must indicate if you will be bringing a breakfast for your child to eat in the comments.
  3. You must take your child to wash their hands immediately upon entrance and put any items away in their cubby before bringing them up front to be dropped off.
  4. We will have a seating chart based on students who are signed up each day which must be followed.

Water Play Schedule This Week!
Below you find the schedule of which classrooms will be having water play. Your child's teacher will be able to tell you what time on your child's day and what your child should bring.

Wednesday - Ms Annie & Ms. Kay

Thursday - Ms. Caitlin & Ms. Char

Thursday - Ms. Amanda & Ms. Nancy (these two classes will attend together and they switch off between Thursday and Friday each week)

All Groups Scheduled for Friday are Canceled this week due to holiday

Friday - Two's Groups (Ms. Brooke & Ms. Kristin will be one group and Ms. Jacara & Ms. Susie will be the other group)

Friday - Toddler Group (Ms. Kelsey & Ms. Chase will be together for water play)

Friday - Ms. Abby & Ms. Abby (these two classes will attend together and they switch off between Thursday and Friday each week)
Calendar for 2020-2021
Attached below is a copy of the calendar for school year 2020-2021. A hard copy of the calendar will go out with paperwork for the new year.

We created a summer remind text group just for those families who have students attending during the summer session. Please make sure to sign up today! Instructions can be found below and at the front office.

Office Communication
We want to make it easier for you to stay in communication with us. If you need to send general information to the office we have created an email address which will send your email message to all of our office staff. You can still send sensitive information to an individual by sending your email to their personal email address but if you want to send general information to be answered by any of our office staff then please use the email address indicated below.
