Greetings to all of our Presentation Families,
We are so excited about the 2020-2021 School Year! School supplies are out in stores reminding us that the beginning of the new school year is just around the corner. We hope you and your family have been able to get outdoors and spend quality time together. Summer is a great time to explore our beautiful city, tour a state park, or snuggle in to read a good book. It’s important for us to slow down our pace and take in the gifts God has given us.
We would like to welcome Susan Scheppers (Kindergarten), Mary Hernandez (5th grade), and Will Sealy (MS Math) to our Presentation community. All three come with many gifts to strengthen our teaching teams. They are looking forward to meeting all of you.
Our teachers have taken some time to refresh and renew themselves over the summer. They look forward to seeing all of you next week at our Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 27th from 3 pm - 8 pm. The purpose of this event is for you and your child(ren) to meet their teacher and drop school supplies.
This event will be a little different than previous years. To keep everyone safe and allow for plenty of physical distancing we will only allow four families in the building at one time. Families may enter through the main door (S1) or the flagpole door (S8). A staff member will be there to greet you and do a family health screening. Students are to stay with their parent/guardian(s) the entire time when inside the school. Families should enter the school and go directly to their child(ren)’s classroom(s). Each family will have 15 minutes to meet their teacher(s) and exit in a timely manner so that the next set of families can enter. A link for the SignUp Genius can be found here.
Hopefully you will all get out and enjoy the beautiful weekend!
Blessing to you all!
Sue Lovegreen, Principal
