“WALKWAYS” OUT OF POVERTY
Do you understand what may be happening in the lives of your low-income customers that may affect their ridership?

Engage in an interactive presentation about the interplay of vulnerable low-income populations with the Bridges Out of Poverty framework and other bodies of work.

This is most evident in Ohio’s public transportation industry, where women are leading many of the major transit authorities.

The panel of 4 women leaders will discuss their climb to the top, their love for their chosen profession, and their plan to ensure inclusion within their teams while providing innovative services for their communities.

Panelists:
  • India Birdsong, General Manager, Greater Cleveland RTA
  • Claudia Amrhein, General Manager, Portage Area RTA
  • Carrie Woody, Director, Lancaster Fairfield Public Transit
  • Laura Koprowski, Executive Director, Ohio Public Transit Association

Panel Moderator:
  • Dawn Distler, Executive Director, Akron Metro RTA
