We are still meeting on Zoom for a few more weeks so thank you so those of you that have taken time to join us!

Devi Pillai did a fantastic job leading Rotarians in the Pledge of Allegiance! Mark Montgomery started our meeting by sharing his shark stories from Cancun while he was swimming with the sharks. He talked about how "cute" sharks are and compared them to dogs! President Eileen gave an inspirational quote for her 90-Day Gratitude Journal recommended by RoseAnne Ruccello! She read the daily reflection that stated, "I am grateful today for these people and experiences in my life. They are helping me grow into a stronger, better, and more successful person." Thank you!

Devi made us all laugh with her story about the family that kept trying to figure out what "IDK" stands for and how they kept saying, "I don't know!"

Mark handled the virtual Sergeant-At-Arms duties like a pro! Members that were on the Zoom gave Happy Bucks for so many things going on in their lives! Mark provided an update on the playoffs and gave Happy Bucks for the Rams! RoseAnne was happy that she and Marilyn were able to work on the club's financials! Chandra gave happy bucks for her good friend that moved out of state that let her know they are coming to town from North Carolina! President Eileen was happy to receive an invitation to attend her nephew's graduation in Washington, D.C. where he will also be singing the National Anthem for the ceremony! Mayor Elaine Gennawey gave happy bucks for the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby!

We were able to hear City Manager Tammy Letourneau's Craft Talk on Zoom and it was great to see Rotarians that were able to attend our meeting!

As you all know, due to the surge in COVID cases in Orange County, and in an effort to make sure all of our members stay healthy and safe, tomorrow's meeting will also be held via Zoom. This will give members the opportunity to stay safe at home or at their office while the COVID numbers hopefully start to decrease.

This week's Craft Talk will be provided by Wendy Cullen, Executive Director of the First Tee of Orange County!

Wendy Cullen is the Executive Director of the First Tee of Orange County. She been with the First Tee for the last two years and oversees the operations, programming and fundraising for the chapter. Wendy spent over 30 years as a sales & marketing executive in companies such as AT&T Broadband, Charter Communications and Kraft Foods. Wendy enjoys seeing the First Tee participants learn life skills and character building that happens with the First Tee programming and most importantly, enjoys watch the players having fun! Wendy lives in San Juan Capistrano and enjoys getting out on the golf course with friends and family.
