PRESIDENT'S CORNER

To our PMINYC Community,

I’d like to take a moment in the midst of this busy, magical season to thank you for inspiring us. You are the reason we do what we do, ever striving to surprise and excite.

And what an exciting year it has been!

The past 12 months - my first year as President - have given me the opportunity to meet so many of you who have energized me. Hearing about your passion for project management, volunteering, life-long learning and contributing to our NYC (and broader tri-state area) community has been heart warming. Your dedication as PMINYC members and volunteers has been the driving force behind our success this year and for that I am sincerely grateful.

2023 Key Accomplishments



🎉 Record growth in our membership of 20% with the highest number of members in our history, exceeding 3600

🍾 Member retention exceeded 80%

⭐️ Volunteers grew by 52% - let's continue this growth, Members! We are still working from a small base of volunteers and need YOU!

🥳 Sold-out events increased to 6, and...

👏 Nominated for Chapter of the Year!!!

Let’s take a moment to celebrate these achievements and our community! I would also like to thank the Board of Directors for all their hard work and tireless efforts this year.

Sadly, we say must goodbye to Jim Boland, VP Programs; Chris Lavin, VP Finance; and Jill Wilkinson, Chief of Staff to the President as their terms come to a close. All three made significant contributions during the year for which I am grateful. Their service to the Chapter is very much appreciated.

Looking Ahead to 2024

As we look ahead to 2024, we will continue to build on the momentum from this year. The Board will be meeting in January to define the strategy for the year and we would appreciate your input as everything is driven by our membership.

2023 Has Been an Incredible Year 🚀 2024 Can Be Even Better!

As we look forward to 2024, we are excited to see what we can achieve together as we continue to aim higher and build on our 2023 successes.
