President's Message
"Welcome to the February installment of the CMA's President's Message.

This month I will be sharing three things with you that demonstrate the value and variety of services that CMA officers to physicians. We recognize that that CMA can't serve our members in a "one size fits all" way and our member benefits demonstrate this.
So, for physicians looking to really develop their personal and professional leadership skills, you'll want to check out the CMA's Physicians Leadership Academy. For those needing to complete their Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV, the CMA has been approved to serve as a program sponsor! And finally, the CMA provides an opportunity to have fun and enjoy each other's company. For this, mark your calendar for May 17th and enjoy our annual social event. This year's theme is Disco Fever!"

Yours in service,
- Jeff

Physicians Leadership Academy now accepting applications for 2019-2020 course
"I signed up for the Physician’s Leadership Academy (PLA) earlier this year to gain knowledge and skills to become a better leader in my pediatric practice and for my company, Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC). What I did not expect was to learn so much more about myself, my communication style and how to improve my work-life balance." (M. Bonnie Pugh, MD)

Save the Date for CMA's annual social event - Disco Fever!
Every year, the CMA picks a theme that's "a little out in left field" (good thing we are holding the event at Clippers Stadium again).

This year we're going back a few decades to celebrate  Disco Fever ! A night filled with great food, drink, dance and fun.

Lots more details coming soon. In the meantime, mark your calendar for  May 17th  as a "groovy night" for fun with friends and colleagues!
Learn about our new MOC Part IV service
"This is the most important thing to happen at the CMA since the Physicians Free Clinic." (Edward Bope, MD)

This month, a group of physicians met to discuss how the CMA, in partnership with HCGC, will help to support physicians' independent Q.I. initiatives for their Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV.
