President's Message
Welcome Back!
I hope your first week of school went well! This time is crucial for establishing routines, procedures, but most importantly getting-to-know all your kiddos! Check out the CTA website for back to school ideas!
A few things to remember from the 17-18 bargaining settlement:
  1. Collaboration Thursdays will be grade level team planning in collaboration with the principal. Please let your site rep know if principals are conducting site meetings.
  2. 2-Day Timecards- the 17-18 school year timecard submitted was brown. Please submit it to Payroll if you have not done so. The timecard for 18-19, will be blue. ** But, do not fill out this timecard until we have settled the contract as we will be negotiating salary again.
  3. Catastrophic Leave- you now have the ability to donate sick days to a colleague or to the district-wide bank. Fill out the google document and forward to the human resources department. It is very important that everyone who is willing to donate, do it quickly.

T he next bargaining for 18-19 is August 14th! To show unity and support for our bargaining team w e will wear red on Tuesday's starting August 7th.
Coming soon... a catalogue of shirts to order from if you'd like a variety!

I wish you a great 2018-19 school year and I hope to see you at our next event!
