Listing of Musician Members
Still under construction is our searchable directory of JCS members who are working musicians. This will both help to promote their talents and make it easier for the rest of us to locate artists when we are planning events. This section will be completed in January.
Membership Campaign Update
1,000 Member Goal by 2020 Festival
3 New Incentive Programs
On January 1st the 3 new incentive programs we wrote about last month went into effect. They will remain in effect until February 28. Click the button to the right for more information and an application form

Last month we reported that the jazz club was facing serious financial problems and that a shrinking membership base was one of the factors. At that time we had 437 dues paying members. We announced a membership drive with a goal to more than double that number to 1,000 members by March of 2020 when we will have our 40th annual festival.

I'm so happy to announce that our numbers have grown by 117 to a total of 554 members. That's a 27% increase in one month. Wow! Thank you for your response!

Next Steps
Peg Pluto has voluntered to chair a Membership Committee that will have it's first meeting this month. The
group will explore ways of continuing this growth and to expand services to members. Please contact the Club Office if you are interested in serving on this committee.
