Welcome to the April edition of The Post and thanks for opening this to read about some updates on activities around your Club.
Easter Saturday saw many join together at the Club as we held the Annual Presentation Night. It was a great evening where we thanked those have made special contributions and to acknowledge aquatic sports achievements.
We were joined by Mayor Susan Salter, Lisa Neville MP, Simon Ramsay MP and Katrina Antony representing LSV.
See below for link to award recipients.
As reported last month we were preparing to send a team to this year's State Lifesaving Championships at Apollo Bay and what a great weekend it was.
Those that attended had a great experience at the State's peak Lifesaving sports event and how great was it to receive a Silver in the U19 Women's Surf Race.
Thanks to all that attended as well as those that assisted to make it happen (incl Justine) and to our officials.
Great work to Charlie and the Life Saving Services team with efforts on patrols this patrol season, now that it wrapped up last weekend. We look forward to sharing the stats of what has been reported to have been a very successful season.
