On behalf of the Club' Executive I would like to take this opportunity to wish all members, their families and our generous sponsors and supporters a Merry Christmas. If you're travelling on the roads please take extra care as you come and go.
We are literally on the eve of our busiest period. A huge thank you in advance for the many hours of voluntary work that so many will assist with in the many areas of our Club over coming weeks.
I encourage you to keep up to date via Facebook or Twitter, or failing that by seeing our Facebook posts on our website home page. This is our primary form of providing timely and regular updates especially this time of year.

Reminder : Online entries for the RVSC are open and filling quickly:
Our largest annual fundraising event, the Rip View Swim Classic is being held on Saturday 30 December and you can help in 2 ways - Firstly to promote the event to friends, family and colleagues and secondly we need a huge army of volunteers !
With less than a week until the 30th Rip View Swim Classic, things are rapidly getting into gear. Thanks to the many people who are helping to get this organised, but we are still looking for a few more volunteers to take on roles. If you are keen to help out, send an email to RVSCDirector@pointlonsdaleslsc.asn.au to take part. For everyone else who is already involved, there will be a swim meeting at the clubrooms at 6pm on Friday 29th to go through all the last minute details. Let's hope this year is just as successful as the last few !
Surveying works complete for Back Beach Base project:
Our Surveyors recently completed their works at the Back Beach. This vital work will allow for detailed plans to be drawn as part of the project to remove the section of the building riddled with concrete cancer and to hopefully allow for a slightly larger building to accommodate modern life saving equipment.
