A NEW CHAPTER
Dear St. Pius X Family,
With deep gratitude, I announce that Dr. Edye Simpson will retire at the end of this school year after 22 years of dedicated service. She has been an integral part of our community, serving as Dean of Students for 17 years and as Principal for the last five. We are profoundly grateful for her leadership, unwavering commitment, and the lasting impact she has made on our faculty, students, and families. Thank you, Dr. Simpson, for your years of devotion to St. Pius X. May God bless you in this next chapter.
Transitions bring both change and opportunity, and we are committed to maintaining the strong foundation that defines St. Pius X. As we prepare for this transition, I am pleased to announce that Ms. Kristin Kramer will serve as our Interim Principal for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning July 1, 2025.

Ms. Kramer is a proud alumna of St. Pius X (Class of 1998) and has been a dedicated educator here for 17 years as Social Studies Department Chair. She is a distinguished teacher, a recipient of multiple teaching honors, and an active leader in our school community. Her deep Catholic faith, commitment to academic excellence, and passion for St. Pius X make her the ideal choice to lead us through this transition.
Ms. Kramer shares, "My education at St. Pius X shaped me into the woman I am today, and, in the words of Coach Maloof, I feel blessed to help students ‘do the best they can with the gifts that God gave them.’ I humbly ask for your prayers as I serve our school in this new role."
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Kramer on this well-deserved opportunity. We look forward to a wonderful year under her leadership.
During the 2025-2026 school year, we will launch a thorough and prayerful search for our next principal—one who will uphold our Catholic identity, advance academic excellence, and nurture the vibrant community we cherish. We will keep our community informed as this process unfolds, and we welcome your prayers and support.
Domini Sumus,
Aaron Parr ‘06
President

SPX THEATRE SHINES IN "SINGING IN THE RAIN"
The St. Pius X Theatre Program, led by Theatre Director Jami Terracino Warren '09 and Assistant Theatre Director Amy Foster Williams '85, wowed audiences this past weekend with its production of Singin’ in the Rain, a show filled with impressive singing, tap dancing, and unforgettable acting. The talented cast brought the golden age of Hollywood to life, delivering classic numbers like Good Morning and Make ‘Em Laugh with energy and charm.
One of the most exciting moments of the show was the unforgettable title number, where the Tech Crew pulled off an incredible feat—making it actually rain on stage. Through careful planning and execution, they created a real downpour, allowing the lead performer to sing and dance just like in the classic film. The combination of strong performances and stunning technical effects made this production a standout, earning standing ovations and rave reviews from the community. St. Pius X once again proved that its theatre program is full of talent, creativity, and dedication.
