THE FUTURE OF ST. PIUS X

StPius1351 JOHN PREFERENCEsm.jpg

We’ve all heard about the legacies and traditions at St. Pius X. They have become a part of our shared story and enrich our history with humor, joy, pride, and awe. There are former faculty members and students who, though we might not know them personally, continue to shape our daily experiences. We’re grateful for their contributions. I, for one, can’t imagine our campus without our exquisite Fine Arts program, and we all associate names like Msgr. Terry Young, Bonnie Spark, and Brion Kennedy  with its successes, even though they are no longer around.

Our Ring the Bells Capital Campaign is now our opportunity to create a rich tapestry of new achievements for...

ANNUAL FUN(d) PARTY CELEBRATES YOUR GENEROSITY

On Friday, October 15, nearly 400 members of our school community joined us on Maloof Field to celebrate the gifts of this community. We listened to the sounds of OTP, featuring faculty members Mr. Dennis Ruggiero, Mr. Trey Broussard, and Mr. Matt Lammers, enjoyed food, drinks, and the company of our school family.

To date, we have raised $513,920 towards our goal of $925,000 and currently have reached 44 percent participation from our parent community. Our mission calls us to keep tuition low and we are able to do that thanks to the gift of our Annual Fund. The campaign bridges the gap between what it actually costs to educate each student and what we charge in tuition, a difference of $1,546 per student.

In addition, we shared our plans for the future of St. Pius X through the Ring the Bells Capital Campaign! We are so proud and excited as we embark on the public phase of our campaign to raise $12 million for safety and security, the library, and new and upgraded athletic facilities.

We are on the threshold of an exciting future. With solid student enrollment, well-rounded academics, brilliance in the arts, leading athletic programs, and a dedicated faculty and staff, we are ready to embark on a path of continued excellence while staying true to the legacy of those who have made St. Pius X the Christ-centered community it is today. DID YOU KNOW

St. Pius X was designed by architect Nicholas J. Pascullis and was one of his final projects before his death in 1960. When Pascullis discovered that St. Pius X did not have the funds to keep the Bell Tower in the plans, he donated the money in order to make the bells a reality. For over six decades, the bells have rung over this school each morning, at noon, and in celebration of big events and games. We look forward to ringing the bells when we reach our goal for the capital campaign as well.
