Hello Optimist Club Presidents,
Convention is right around the corner! I look forward to meeting many of you. Below are a few special service projects in which you can participate while Attending convention.
Convention Service Highlights:
Build-A-Bear
You will have the opportunity to place the heart in an Optimist Build A Bear. The bears will cost $30, you will have the choice of cream or brown, either will sport an Optimist T-shirt. The bears will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. If you want to take one or more home with you, you can purchase your own after the initial donation. Stop by the Build a Bear booth on July 1 beginning at 11:00 a.m. to complete your bear and send him/her on its way to brighten the day of a child.

Monarch - A Purchase with a Purpose
Monarch partners with Crisis Aid International to fight to end sex trafficking and child sexual exploitation. They make jewelry and other gift items and contribute all their net profits to Crisis Aid’s holistic answer to this horrendous issue. https://monarchjewelry.org Monarch will have a booth at our convention. How can you help? Bring jewelry, costume or otherwise, to donate to Monarch. They will transform them into beautiful pieces to sell for this worthy cause.
