Hello Optimist Club Presidents,
It was wonderful to see many of you at the Optimist International Convention. It was a great convention filled with learning, fellowship and fun.
During Convention our Vice presidents and Governors worked in regional groups to plan for a strong finish, focusing on an achievable growth and retention goal. Each Governor identified their District Growth goal to achieve by September 30, 2025. They identified one or two strategies to implement in their District to achieve that goal.
I ask that Club leaders do the same. We have three months left to strengthen our clubs and Optimist International. Here is what you need to do:
- Set your Club Growth Goal to at a minimum of Net plus one, to be in the green.
- Select a strategy or two to retain and gain members.
- Focus on implementing your growth strategy.
- Track your growth over the fourth quarter to ensure achieving your goal to be in the green!
New Club Building Blitz - We also met with the Governor-Elect Team to work together during this fourth quarter and the first quarter of next year. NCB credit will be given to both Governors for any clubs built during this period of time.
