Dear Optimist Club Presidents,

Last year, the Optimist International Foundation was a proud supporter of the first annual JOI Summit. Young leaders from across North America gathered for a special weekend focused on empowerment, leadership, well-being, and connection. It was a truly meaningful experience for everyone involved!

The second annual JOI Summit will be held at Saint Louis University on July 18-20. The OIF will again partner with OI to once again to bring this fantastic opportunity for our JOI members to grow their personal and leadership skills while interacting with fellow members from all over North America and possibly globally.

You can help by participating in the Optimist International Foundation – JOIful Weekend of Giving. April 25 – 27 will be a special fundraiser to support the Junior Optimist International Summit. Please consider this special opportunity and spread the word to your fellow Optimists.

Ready to be JOIful? Here's how to contribute during April 25-27:

  1. Visit the OIF Website and click "Donate Now."
  2. Select "JOIful Giving/JOI Summit" from the designation dropdown menu. This ensures your gift directly supports the summit.

Important Notes:

  • All donations designated this way are restricted solely for the JOI Summit effort.

  • Regular donations made this weekend (like Dime A Day) won't count toward this specific campaign and donations to this campaign will not count toward your annual giving or Club/District totals. But these special contributions will count toward your Lifetime Giving totals and they will make a big difference in the lives of our youth!

"From every member of the Junior Optimists, I would like to thank everyone who has donated and worked to help make the JOI Summit the best it can be. This will help us spread the word about the summit and bring more people together to learn about what it means to be an Optimist. Thank you again for the support you have given us!"
