CONSTRUCTION MILESTONE: The final beam of the new UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences building is lifted into place on July 15. The blue beam’s placement was watched from across the street in Mission Hall, where donors and campus leadership gathered to celebrate the event.

Two New Vice Chancellors:  Won Ha has been appointed as UCSF’s vice chancellor for Communications , and   Francesca Vega has been appointed as UCSF’s vice chancellor for Community & Government Relations . Both will lead teams that formerly made up the Office of University Relations.
