Dear Members of the Curry College Community,
I am writing to update you on the presidential search, which remains on schedule. We are pleased to announce that after an initial round of interviews by the search committee, we have a final pool of strong and diverse candidates who will be interviewed in person over the course of next week. Due to the need for candidate confidentiality, the interviews will be conducted off site; however, the constituent groups of students, staff, and faculty have been expanded so that more members of our community are engaged in this important process. Feedback will be gathered and shared with the Board of Trustees, who will then vote on Curry’s new president during the May 19th board meeting.
As President Quigley shared last September, he will be here through the end of the academic year with his tenure ending on May 31st. A transition committee is working on a summer transition plan and details will be shared with the community once they are finalized.
Thank you for your interest in the search process. Please continue to visit the Presidential Search website for updates on the progress of the search.
With best wishes,
W. Patrick Hughes
Chair, Curry College Board of Trustees
