July 20, 2017 - Dakota Certified Development Corporation is excited to announce an important step forward in the evolution of their organization by breaking ground on a new headquarters office in South Fargo. Construction on the 5,800 square foot facility near the corner of Veterans Boulevard and 36th Avenue South officially began on June 2, 2017. "The new location will further enhance our brand of 35 years, enable us to control our current and future growth, and provide a state of the art facility with which to recruit and retain a quality workforce," explained Dakota CDC's president and CEO, Steve Dusek. Dakota CDC has been at their current location for almost 10 years and has recently outgrown the space.
The new facility will provide several opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement for Dakota CDC's day to day operations. "The overall open, collaborative design will include space for current and future staff, board and presentation space that will be important to communicate a consistent brand to people outside of our organization, privacy areas for small group meetings or discussion, and social areas flexible for a variety of activities," added Dusek. "The facility was designed with an understanding of organizational culture and collaborative styles, improving the way we work together both internally and externally."
