Beth Cutter as Director of Castro Valley Adult and Career Education
Castro Valley, CA – (April 9, 2020) – At tonight's board meeting, the Board of Education appointed Ms. Beth Cutter as the Director of Castro Valley Adult and Career Education (CVACE). Ms. Cutter is replacing Mrs. Susie Passeggi who is retiring at the end of the school year. Mrs. Passeggi has been an exemplary leader in Adult Education in the Bay Area and has given many years of unparalleled service to our district and our community.

Ms. Cutter is currently the Assistant Director of Adult and Career Education in the Pleasanton Unified School District and actively involved in the Mid-Alameda County Consortium (MACC), which CVACE is also a member. This partnership and collaborative working relationship through this consortium will provide for a seamless leadership transition. Prior to her career in adult education, Ms. Cutter was an Assistant Principal for two years in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and a Science teacher in Pleasanton for seven years.

“We welcome Ms. Cutter to CVUSD. She is already familiar with our excellent adult school program, and we are extremely excited to have her join our team,” said Superintendent Ahmadi.
