IWIRC Announces 2022 Founders Awards Recipients

Outstanding Network Goes to the Cayman Islands Network
Stanardsville, VA – July 18, 2022- The International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation ("IWIRC") is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2022 Founders Awards. Jo Hewitt, Alvarez and Marsal, London, will be awarded the Melnik Award for exceptional contributions by an IWIRC member. Stuti Jain, Deutsche Bank, Singapore, will receive the Fetner Award. The award is presented to a member whose contributions to IWIRC have helped to fuel growth and expansion of IWIRC’s mission globally. The Cayman Islands Network is the winner of the Ryan Award for outstanding IWIRC Network.
The Founders Awards are named in honor of IWIRC's three founders, Selinda Melnik, an attorney, Laureen Ryan, a financial advisor and Martha Fetner, a banker.

Jo stated, "I never had the privilege of meeting Selinda but I have heard such wonderful things about her. To me she embodied everything which IWIRC stands for - …she opened doors for people, helped them forge the right connections and lifted women up….' That has absolutely been my experience since joining IWIRC which is the reason why I am so invested in the network as it gives me the chance to pay it back to others. Being recognised with this award by such fantastic leaders in the profession is a true honour."

All Founders Award recipients will be recognized at IWIRC's Leadership Summit in Minneapolis on August 5, 2022. The presentations will be recorded and posted on IWIRC's YouTube Channel.
