- In response to COVID-19, Quincy College, which took its Spring 2020 Semester fully remote on March 30th, will now offer new five-week online classes starting April 19th, along with its summer coursework fully online. In addition, Students from across the United States can
earn college credit and receive a Quincy College education outside of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Quincy College online classes and online degree programs are now available for students to enroll in 49 States, Puerto Rico, District of Columbia, and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Quincy College is offering introductory level classes online with classes starting on April 19, 2020 and run through May 23, 2020 with discounted rates for high school students. The five week classes that are offered fully online taught by Quincy College faculty are: Accounting, College Algebra, English Composition I
,
General Psychology, General Sociology, Interpersonal Communication, Introduction to Business, Introduction to Computers, and United States History I.
Quincy College online education has been approved by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts to participate in the
National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements
(NC-SARA). NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of post-secondary distance education.
Quincy College is also a member of the nationally acclaimed
Quality Matters
(QM) program. Quality Matters is a highly regarded program that encourages and recognizes quality online course design. Courses are internally and externally peer-reviewed based on the QM rubric.
In addition to the development of unique course formats, expanded course offerings, Quincy College has hired Dr. Lisa Desruisseaux to serve as Director of Online Learning. Dr. Desruisseaux oversees the College’s efforts to create and enhance quality online courses and programs. Throughout her 30 years in K-12 and higher education, she has worked as a classroom teacher, traditional and online higher educational faculty, administrator, professional consultant and instructional designer. She holds current certifications as a K-12 educator, principal, curriculum director, Quality Matters Peer Reviewer and Critical Friends Coach.
Dr.
Desruisseaux
holds a Doctorate of Education, Educational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University; a Masters of Education in Educational Supervision and Administration from the University of New Hampshire; and a Masters of Education in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH.
