LONG DESCRIPTION -- SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2019 & WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2019
High Mountain Project is a new music venture with artist Ellen Kaye who joins guitarist Dylan Vaughn from Germany (in town for one week), and guitarist Steve Benson from New York City for two nights of live music.These three acclaimed entertainers will be playing new original songs, sizzling blues, jazz and folk rock. On Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm, they will be performing live at Slate Hill Bar & Grill in Slate Hill, NY. On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 they will be performing live from 6pm to 8pm at Ferraro's Bull's Head Inn in Campbell Hall, NY. Choose one or both nights for an evening of live music, food, and drinks in support of the Middletown Warming Station. NO COVER.

ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Middletown Warming Station is a project of the Greater Middletown Interfaith Council
and provides a safe overnight space for homeless men and women.

GREATER MIDDLETOWN INTERFAITH COUNCIL
The council is comprised of over 30 faith-based organizations located around the Middletown New York area. Spiritually they support and host the Good Friday Service at Grace Episcopal and the Thanksgiving Service which is held at various locations each year. They are financially supportive of the Food Pantry at St. Paul’s United Methodist and the Guild of St. Margaret Soup Kitchen at Grace Episcopal. They host the Greater Middletown CROP Hunger Walk held in October every year. The GMIC is a 501(c)3 organization. They solely support the entire operation of the Interfaith Warming Station by fundraisers and donations.

ELLEN KAYE - CO-PRODUCER/ENTERTAINER/SPONSOR
Orange County resident Ellen Kaye is a producer, performer, entrepreneur and co-host of this event. She was born into show business at her parents’ Russian Tea Room, began her career as a nightclub singer at the original Monkey Bar and has performed in places as varied as Town Hall, Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra, the Metropolitan Room, Iridium Jazz Club and La Mama E.T.C. She co-produced a music and film series at the Paramount Theater in Middletown, NY and has been regularly appearing at local venues since 2016. She hosted a weekly live radio show, M57 Live From Delancey , with music and interviews from her former live music venue, Moscow 57. Ellen created and hosted a podcast series, the M57 On Air Salon and produced pop-ups with food and music from Harlem to New Orleans. Ellen has released several CD's, including 3AM...the dogs, the milkman & me, 2AM , and Ice Wine: songs for Christmas and dark winter nights.

STEPHEN BENSON - GUITARIST
Stephen Benson is very active on the New York City freelance scene. He is comfortable in a variety of musical settings from jazz and classical music to rock, blues, rhythm and blues, Broadway, bluegrass and klezmer music. He has performed and/or recorded with people as diverse as Phoebe Snow, John Sebastian, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Natalie Cole, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, The New York Philharmonic, The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. The Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Lukes and the American Symphony Orchestra. He has been a regular performer at the Grand Canyon Music Festival and has performed at the Carnival of Venice. He has performed on Broadway in the orchestra pits of The Lion King, Chicago and Annie . He is on the jazz faculty at Montclair State University and lives in NYC with his family.

DyYLAN VAUGHN - GUITARIST
Dylan Vaughn currently performs with the Hamburger Symphonike r , Duo DA , Mardon & Vaughn , Trio Fantastik , The Cracks , Jochen Wiegandt , Dylan & Martin , D.C. Dylan & Christian , and Janice Harrington in Hamburg, Germany, throughout Europe and beyond. He has led music workshops throughout Germany, Israel, the West Bank, Bulgaria , and Lithuania. Dylan has written music for Roald Dahl's The Twits , Muriel Hermine's water circus Crescend’O in Disneyland Paris and Cirque D’Hiver, Paris, composed/and co-arranged with John Mortimer the music for the Steiff company musical, Teddy ; and wrote a song cycle The Marriage of True Minds based on the Shakespeare sonnets. He has played guitar and bass for A Chorus Lin e, Little Shop of Horrors, Cats, Starlight Express, Beehive, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story , Der Blauer Engel/the Blue Angel and Sesame Street .

LISA B. - CO-PRODUCER/SPONSOR
Orange County resident Lisa B. is a local chef, co-host and sponsor of this event. Lisa's love of cooking started in her grandmother's kitchen back in Brooklyn. She pursued culinary arts at Park West High School in Manhattan and interned at some of the top restaurants in New York including B. Smith”s. After moving upstate in 1998 she put professional cooking on hold but continued baking for family and friends. Having raised five children she is ready to pursue her passion again. Together with Ellen Kaye they formed Happy Pair Productions and have begun co-producing events together in the local area.

ALAN JOSEPH - CO-PRODUCER
Goshen attorney Alan Joseph is the author of the suspense-adventure novel Stones of Fire and a sponsor of this event. He is a prior Chief Assistant District Attorney of Orange County and currently has a full service law practice. He was featured in two books, Deadly Masquerade and Marrying the Hangman and has appeared in four true crime episodes on TV.
