6th Street Playhouse presents
“Heroines, Harpies, and Harlots - Women Speak”
as their part of the Bay Area Women’s Theater Festival

With performances from Feb 28 through March 8, this celebration of women’s place in history has been written, produced, and directed by a fully female identifying team.

In material chosen to give a voice to women from every walk of life, 6th Street Playhouse will present a national and local look at what it means to be a woman, especially a woman in the arts. The offerings include meet-and-greets, performances and talk-backs with the local playwrights and the powerhouse all-female directors and production team.

The performances, which feature multiple performers, are titled Women at Large, Women from Home, and Devising Women . Each focuses on a different aspect of Women’s History and will be performed in repertory with each other.
