ASA President, Greg Robbins Receives William A. Wheatley Award

Newcastle, WA—Greg Robbins, president of ASA, was awarded the William A. Wheatley Award September 27, during the University Aviation Association 2024 Collegiate Aviation Education Conference & Expo in Memphis, Tennessee.


The Wheatley award is granted each year to a professional educator who is a University Aviation Association actively involved member in good standing and who has over ten years actual experience in the aviation education profession and who has made outstanding contributions to aerospace education.

Nominees for the Award must be professional educators at the collegiate level. Individuals may be nominated for this award by UAA Professional, Associate, Corporate, or Institutional members. The award is made each year in memory of United Air Lines' William A. Wheatley-a dominant pioneer in the field of aviation education.
