Angle of Attack Work Group to Showcase Lifesaving Technology at AirVenture 2025

Newcastle, WA—ASA is proud to announce its involvement with the Angle of Attack Work Group (AOA WG) who will be hosting a variety of safety presentations at EAA AirVenture 2025. Established by the EAA Safety Committee, the AOA WG has been at the forefront of promoting the use of angle of attack indicators in general aviation.

On July 22 and 23 the AOA Work Group will conduct presentations, including a panel with FAA management, and participate in forums to discuss the latest advancements in AOA technology and its integration into general aviation. Hands-On Training will also be available giving pilots an opportunity to engage in training sessions using state-of-the-art simulators equipped with AOA indicators.

The AOA Work Group’s participation in EAA AirVenture 2025 is part of a broader effort to promote the adoption of AOA indicators and support pilot training. By collaborating with various stakeholders, including the EAA Safety Committee, FAA, aircraft manufacturers, universities, publishers, and pilot associations, the group aims to equip a large number of pilots with the skills needed to use AOA indicators effectively and increase aviation safety.
