What started out as a dream a little more than two years ago to honor our mother, renowned Water Colorist and Calligrapher, Grace Phillips, is now becoming a reality!  We will achieve our goal of paying tribute to her by showcasing her lifetime achievement of Art and to raise awareness for Alzheimer's, from which she suffers.

The three-month exhibition begins on October 5, 2010, and goes through January 4, 2011, at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, CA.  A special fundraiser to benefit the care of Alzheimer's patients will be held on the inaugural day of the exhibition.

The Cocktail Reception, Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, will include a 'Fragrance Journey' overview by Sue Phillips, International Fragrance Expert, to raise awareness of the correlation of smell, taste and memory as key elements to emotional well-being and how the plight of Alzheimer's affects these senses.  Read Sue's article "Sensory Healing" in Glow Beauty Magazine.
