The Consulate General of Mexico in Austin, in collaboration with Education Austin, Equal Justice Center, NALEO Educational Fund, and Univision Austin, is pleased to invite the community to a
Citizenship Drive Event on Saturday, April 2nd, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, at Allan Elementary School, located at 4900 Gonzalez St., Austin, TX 78701. The following services will be provided at the event with no cost: assistance filling out the N-400 citizenship application, free passport photos, free legal advice with immigration lawyers about the citizenship application process, and study materials for the citizenship exam.
There are almost 600,000 Mexican nationals living in Texas who are eligible to become U.S. citizens. The Consulate General of Mexico in Austin and its partners are committed to encouraging and supporting them to apply.
In collaboration with local organizations, the Consulate will host an information session on February 24th, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, at 410 Baylor St., Austin, TX 78703. Another information session will be held on March 30th, 6:00-7:30 pm, at Allan Elementary School, located at 4900 Gonzalez St., Austin, TX 78701. Guidance will be provided during these information sessions to prepare applicants for the Citizenship Drive Event.
