After canvassing the re-tabulation of the City of Battle Creek’s Absent Voter Counting Board, confirming the totals with the election day tabulation for both tabulators entered, and reviewing the numbers reported by the Calhoun County Clerk’s Office on the election results webpage, the unofficial numbers on the website for the following races will stand as currently presented:
• Representative in State Legislature, 44th District: Jim Haadsma/Steve Frisbie
• Calhoun County Commissioner, District 1: Rochelle Hatcher/Dominic Oo
Military and overseas ballots still need to be processed. Once the Calhoun County Board of Canvassers certifies the election (by Tuesday, November 19), any necessary updates to the website will be made and uploaded as official.
