ELLEN
SAUERBREY BACKS ED PRIOLA
Columbia,
Maryland - "Ed Priola is the right choice for District 13 in
Howard County," declared Ellen Sauerbrey, a two-time gubernatorial
candidate for the State of Maryland. Priola, a Republican from
Columbia, Maryland, is running for the House of Delegates in Howard
County's District 13. Sauerbrey gave Priola her endorsement in a
statement released from her home in Baldwin, Maryland on
Thursday.
"Ed is a solid fiscal conservative," Sauerbrey stated. His service
on the Reagan/Bush and Bush/Quayle presidential campaigns
demonstrate that he shares my commitment to the core Republican
values of lower taxes, fiscally responsible spending, and making
Maryland a business-friendly state."
"That is why I am proud to support and endorse Ed Priola," she
added. "I call on, not only the Republicans in District 13, but all
constituents who want to rein in the out-of-control tax-and-spend
mentality in Annapolis, to support Ed in the Primary and General
Elections."
"I am deeply grateful for Ellen's support," Priola said. "She has
done so much for Maryland throughout her career, and I'm proud to
have her on our team."
Priola, 56, has based his campaign on the three priorities of:
enacting term limits on the Maryland General Assembly to replace
entrenched career politicians with citizen legislators, restoring
Maryland to a business-friendly state where private enterprises
create jobs and attract investment, and ending the Legislature's
"tax and spend" mantra.
