Sponsored by The Bart Howard Foundation and ASCAP

BURLINGTON, IOWA - The Capitol is proud to announce Church of Cash, the world class Johnny Cash tribute band and winner of the Midwest Best Tribute Act, will perform live at The Capitol at 7:30pm on Friday, February 9th.

Sponsored by ASCAP and the West Burlington based Bart Howard Foundation, Church of Cash return to The Capitol with an unforgettable experience that has brought the music of the legendary Johnny Cash to life at sold out venues spanning over 1,000 shows across North America, Europe and Asia.

Formed by Jay Ernest in 2010, the group has an uncanny grasp of the Man in Black’s catalog, honoring the rich legacy of Johnny Cash.

Church of Cash celebrates the soul of American music. Whether you're an old timer that grew up listening to Mr. Cash in your tractor or a young soldier driving your tank across the deserts of the Middle East with Cash in your headphones, the Church of Cash brings his music, style and energy to fans everywhere.

Church of Cash was recognized in 2019 and in 2021 as winner of the Midwest Best Tribute Act and was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2021.

Honoring the legacy of Burlington's own globally recognized composer and songwriter Bart Howard, known for his classic "Fly Me to the Moon" and popularized by Frank Sinatra; the Bart Howard Foundation is sponsoring the Church of Cash show at The Capitol to continue it's mission of providing scholarships to area youth pursuing a education in music.

Advanced tickets ate $25 for reserved seating and $35 for premium seating, with day-of ticket prices at $30 and $40 respectively. Tickets are available at The Capitol website and at the theater box office.
