The Capitol Announces February Night Cap Listening Lounge Events

Adds Extended Friday & Saturday Hours 5pm-Midnight, Plus 5-7pm Happy Hour on Thursdays & Fridays

BURLINGTON, IOWA - The Capitol is proud to announce February's Night Cap event schedule and expanded hours, featuring Valentine's themed nights, live music, hosted music and conversation, an open mic comedy night and more.


Night Cap now has extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm til midnight, with half-priced drinks for Happy Hour on Thursdays and Friday's from 5-7pm. Find the complete February 2024 Night Cap Event List below.

About The Capitol

Located in the heart of downtown Burlington, the restored Capitol Theater recaptures an era when movies and live entertainment were enjoyed in beautiful and unique theaters.


This 1937 Art Deco jewel re-opened in 2012. The intimate 367–seat venue and listening lounge, Night Cap, host independent and classic films as well as local, regional, and national touring artists performing on a 1,500–square foot stage.


The Capitol is home to monthly films and concerts as well as host of the annual Snake Alley Festival of Film held each July, and Old Couch Music Fest, a free outdoor musical festival held each August.
