The First Annual Colorado Theatre Guild Unified Auditions
Sunday, April 23 & Monday, April 24, 2023 at Curious Theatre
DENVER, Colorado., December 5, 2022 – The Colorado Theatre Guild (CTG) is proud to announce the launch of the First Annual Colorado Theatre Guild Unified Auditions. This event provides an opportunity for Colorado actors (union and non-union) from across the state to audition for numerous theatre companies in the region at a single audition. This unified audition event will be hosted in partnership with Curious Theatre Company, making it the largest audition event of this kind to be held in Colorado in many years.
In-person musical and non-musical auditions will take place live on Sunday, April 23 (12pm-8pm) and Monday, April 24 (10am-6pm) at Curious Theatre Company in Denver. Actors can submit their resumes and credentials for consideration via a website portal in 2023.
Because representation and equity in auditioning, casting, and performing matters:
-Submissions will be reviewed by a committee that is representative of the Colorado theatre community
-A percentage of audition spots will be reserved for individuals who are BIPOC, disabled, and/or recent college theatre graduates.
