The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Commerce Sonoma County would like to welcome our new President, Sonoma County native Jenny Chamberlain,
District Director for Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore.
While working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Jenny led a very interesting career starting off in the private sector working for Japan's second largest airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) located in Los Angeles, CA. During her 7 years at ANA, she served on a specialized team that concentrated on the company's growth and expansion into the U.S.
Jenny also worked for two start-up companies in Southern California, A-Check America (now A-Check Global) and U.S. Search.com both background investigation companies who have become leaders in the U.S. for small businesses with specialized needs.
Upon her return to Sonoma County, Jenny attended Empire Law School while working in the legal department at Jackson Family Farms and later interning for attorney Eddie Sussman. It was while in law school, Jenny's lifelong passion for community and desire to provide opportunities for all became her life's passion and ultimately led her to serve at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Sonoma County.
With this same passion, Jenny worked in the non-profit sector for over 8 years for both United Way and the American Cancer Society as a Community Development Manager as well as Resource Development & Fundraising Specialist.
It is because Jenny managed pursuing a higher degree while working full-time that she understands the importance of creating opportunities on many levels to be a vital gateway for economic growth. It is her personal mission as President to continue to grow the Chamber as the number one resource for our community by building upon the foundations that others before her have laid down.
Under her leadership, Jenny also started the first Hispanic Chamber Young Professionals Network (HCYP) in the state, and has sat on various chamber committees, including the California State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Northern Region Committee.
Jenny is also the former Vice-President of Los Cien Latino Leaders, she sat on the Human Right's Commission as well as Board Member of NCCS (North County Community Services).
Let us all join together to welcome Jenny Chamberlain at our January Mixer this Thursday!
