Northern Sky Theater Presents Home for the Holidays 2016
Door County's award-winning Northern Sky Theater has announced the line-up for its annual holiday concert at the Old Gibraltar Town Hall. Celebrating its 10th year, "Home for the Holidays" will feature three talented performers who last performed together in 2010:  Eric Lewis, Doc Heide, and Holly Feldman. The all-new concert for 2016 will play for five performances from December 27th through December 31st.
Reunite with these Northern Sky favorites for an uplifting evening of seasonal songs, dazzling instrumental fireworks, and delightful holiday humor!  The Door County Advocate says "Heide and Lewis are a cure for the winter blues!"

Northern Sky Theater co-founder Doc Heide has performed professionally in Door County for over four decades.  Among the 20 shows he's co-authored are the hit musicals Belgians in Heaven, Packer Fans from Outer Space, and Guys & Does. A Kerrville New Folk Finalist, Doc has recorded four CD's including the best-selling Christmas in Door County (with Eric Lewis).  His latest CD Better Angels has received airplay worldwide. Critics here and abroad have compared his songwriting to that of Bob Dylan and Warren Zevon. Doc's 2013 concert sold out the 720-seat Door Community Auditorium. According to the Door County Advocate, "Doc's songs have a way of shooting an arrow straight into your soul, from his soaring anthems to his sweet ballads."

One of Door County's favorite musicians, Eric Lewis, is thrilled to be back on the stage with his Northern Sky family for the holiday season. He has been named "Best Male Musician" by Door County Magazine and received the Premier Player Award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Memphis chapter). Eric has opened for Travis Tritt and Chuck Berry, and performed coast to coast with Jason Petty, Robin and Linda Williams (of Prairie Home Companion) and many others. This fall he released his newest CD, Before the Last Time.

In addition to her behind-the-scene contributions at Northern Sky, Holly Feldman has performed with Katie Dahl, Doc Heide, Jeffrey Herbst, Jimmy Kaplan, Eric Lewis, Chad Luberger and Karen Mal. Holly is currently Director of Development and Public Relations at Northern Sky Theater.
Performances of "Home for the Holidays" are scheduled for 4pm on December 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. Tickets are $23 for adults and $13 for children. Advance tickets are available by calling (920) 854-6117, online at www.NorthernSkyTheater.com, or by stopping in the Northern Sky office, which is located at the Green Gables Shops in North Ephraim. All seats are General Admission. Any remaining tickets will be sold at Gibraltar Town Hall beginning 45 minutes before each performance. As a special holiday treat, each show will also feature a drawing for gift certificates from local businesses.
Northern Sky Theater is a non-profit professional theater organization that produces original musical shows in repertory from June through August. Northern Sky continues its performances into the fall with shows at the Door Community Auditorium September through October.
