The Capitol Announces March Night Cap Listening Lounge Events

Featuring Live Music by Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Dennis Albee March 8, Eddie Hart March 22nd

BURLINGTON, IOWA - The Capitol is proud to announce March's Night Cap event schedule featuring 5 live music nights, an open mic comedy night, liquid flow yoga and more.


Bar hours for the Night Cap Listening Lounge are Thursdays 5-10pm, Fridays and Saturdays 5pm til midnight, with half-priced drinks for Happy Hour on Thursdays and Friday's from 5-7pm. Find the complete March 2024 Night Cap event list below.

March 8 - Live Music with Dennis Albee @6pm (Free Admission). (Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee)


March 10 - Liquid Flow Yoga at Night Cap @11am. ($20, includes 1 Drink)


March 14 - Live music with Chad Elliott and Bronson Herrmuth @7pm. (Free Preview Performance before their March 15th ticketed Concert in The Capitol).


March 17 - Liquid Flow Yoga at Night Cap @11am. ($20, includes 1 Drink)


March 22 - Live music with Eddie Hart @6:30pm (Free Admission).

March 28 - Open Mic Comedy Night hosted by Mike Ripple @7pm.

About The Capitol

Located in the heart of downtown Burlington, the restored Capitol Theater recaptures an era when movies and live entertainment were enjoyed in beautiful and unique theaters.


This 1937 Art Deco jewel re-opened in 2012. The intimate 367–seat venue and listening lounge, Night Cap, host independent and classic films as well as local, regional, and national touring artists performing on a 1,500–square foot stage.


The Capitol is home to monthly films and concerts as well as host of the annual Snake Alley Festival of Film held each July, and Old Couch Music Fest, a free outdoor musical festival held each August.
