WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) has partnered with RUN Payments as its recommended payment technology company to exclusively provide At-Large Dealer Members with access to cutting-edge payment solutions designed specifically for the lumber and building materials industry.
RUN Payments’ partner-centric operating system streamlines merchant onboarding and activation for Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), agents, and software platforms, while preserving flexibility across a range of processors and gateways. The company recently won the coveted ISO of the Year for 2026 from the Electronic Transactions Association.
Led by industry veteran Dan "Rowdy" Rau, RUN Payments delivers payment technology that integrates seamlessly with your existing systems without disrupting day-to-day operations. RUN Payments can integrate into dealers' current ERP system and still save them money and not disrupt workflow. Legacy technologies adapt slowly to constant changes in electronic payments, such as passing fees onto customers or providing an online portal where customers and contractors can manage their accounts and jobs. The ability to plug into systems without disruption ultimately saves dealers hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars. With Rowdy as the LBM advocate and ambassador in payments, dealers using Epicor or other technologies are still able to "Run with Rowdy."
This partnership is exclusively for At-Large dealer members. Rowdy also has partnerships with BLD Connection, Building Material Suppliers Association, Kentucky Building Materials Association, Midwest Building Suppliers Association and West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association for members of NLBMDA's federated association partners.
Rowdy has supported the association through multiple attendance at the Pro Dealer Summit and has been an LBM advocate on Capitol Hill for the Spring Meeting and Legislative Conference since 2024. Rowdy is not looking to win business as he says, but rather to build long lasting relationships.
