REPUBLICAN JUNE CUTTER LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN FOR NEWLY DRAWN ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 76
Assembly Republicans Endorse Cutter's Campaign
(San Diego, CA) - June Cutter announced today that she is launching her campaign for the California State Assembly seat in the newly drawn District 76. June is active in the community, previously serving as the PTA President for her children's elementary school, and now serving as President of the California Women's Leadership Association.

June is a small business owner, attorney, and native Southern Californian. She has owned multiple businesses and fought for countless individuals for nearly two decades as an attorney.

"After a groundswell of supporters urged me to run in the newly formed 76th district, I felt compelled to step forward and make sure the ruling party in Sacramento stops putting their foot on the neck of everyday San Diegans. We deserve a representative in Sacramento who understands the increasing challenges of paying our bills and educating our children," said Cutter.

The 76th district seat is currently occupied by Democrat Brian Maienschein, who won reelection in November 2020 in the 77th assembly district. Maienschein, however, has never represented approximately 65% of the voters in the newly drawn 76th district, which no longer includes Poway or Scripps Ranch.

June has already been endorsed by the vast majority of Assembly Republicans including Leader Marie Waldron, Steven Choi, Megan Dahle, Laurie Davies, Heath Flora, Vince Fong, Tom Lackey, Devon Mathis, Kelly Seyarto, Thurston Smith, Suzette Valladares, and Randy Voepel. Republican Leader Waldron said, "I'm proud to endorse June for Assembly. She is a fighter and a servant leader who will bring her business and legal experience to Sacramento to improve the lives of San Diegans."

June's campaign team includes Axiom Strategies, the consulting firm responsible for Glenn Youngkin's recent victory in the Virginia Governor's race; Illuminate Marketing and Golden State Strategies for fundraising; and Campaign Compliance Group as treasurer.

June graduated cum laude from U.C. Irvine in 1999 and went on to receive both her Juris Doctorate and Master's in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California, completing both graduate degrees at the age of 23. For over 12 years, June has lived in San Diego with her husband Ryan, a former Naval Flight Officer, and their two children.
