Trailways Welcomes A Goff Limousine & Bus as Newest Stockholder
Family-owned Virginia transportation company brings decades of industry experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and a commitment to continued growth
FAIRFAX, VA – October 8, 2026 – Trailways is pleased to announce that A Goff Limousine & Bus has joined its nationwide network as its newest stockholder. Founded in 1999 and incorporated in 2000, the family-owned Virginia transportation company operates a fleet of 26 large passenger vehicles, including motorcoaches, along with three black-car SUVs.
Owned by Ana Goff, with her husband, Dan Goff, serving as General Manager, A Goff Limousine & Bus brings more than 25 years of business history, extensive transportation industry experience, and an entrepreneurial approach to the motorcoach business.
For Dan Goff, joining Trailways represents an opportunity several years in the making. He first reached out to Trailways in 2021, as transportation companies emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic and explored opportunities to generate revenue. As business quickly rebounded, discussions were temporarily set aside, but the opportunity was never forgotten.
Earlier in 2026, Goff revisited the idea, recognizing the strength of the Trailways name, the evolution of its network, and the potential benefits of becoming part of an established national transportation brand.
"The Trailways name and brand are very strong, and I've watched how the organization has evolved over the years," said Dan Goff. "I believe there is an opportunity to do something good for our company while also contributing something valuable to Trailways."
Goff's transportation career began in 1979, following his service in the U.S. Army Special Forces, where he served as a Morse code radio operator. His first civilian transportation position was in dispatch for a Yellow Cab operation, at a time when reservations arrived on a conveyor belt rather than through today's computerized systems.
Over the decades, Goff has built experience across multiple segments of the transportation industry. In addition to his leadership at A Goff Limousine & Bus, he founded SuperMax Motors in 2004, specializing in the sale of motorcoaches, minibuses, limousines, and other passenger vehicles. He also previously operated a commercial vehicle repair and maintenance business.
This broad industry experience has helped shape Goff's interest in developing practical solutions that make transportation businesses more efficient. He sees opportunities to exchange ideas, share innovations, and collaborate with fellow Trailways operators.
Geographic expansion is another important consideration. With operations spanning multiple states and additional markets under consideration, the company recognizes the value of belonging to a national network of independently owned transportation companies. The relationships, shared knowledge, and opportunities within Trailways complement A Goff Limousine & Bus's plans for continued growth.
As a family-owned business, A Goff Limousine & Bus is also looking toward the next generation. Ana and Dan Goff are preparing for the transition of leadership responsibilities to younger family members, emphasizing succession planning, business continuity, and the company's long-term success.
