Vendor Applications for Annual Out to Lunch Festival & Farmers’ Market in Downtown Worcester are Now Open

WORCESTER, MA – Vendor applications are now open for the 2025 Out to Lunch Festival & Farmers’ Market! The Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District (BID) is expanding this year’s event with more vendors, local artisans, community organizations, a significantly larger farmers market, and an enhanced festival experience, running for 10 weeks (up from 6 last year) on Wednesdays from June 18 to August 20, 2025.

This year’s Out to Lunch expansion is made possible, in part, by a $100,000 Urban Agenda Grant the Downtown Worcester BID was awarded from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which will support additional vendors, programming, and a lineup that includes international, national, and regionally touring musical acts. The planning team is also putting a strong focus on growing the Out to Lunch farmers’ market, working in partnership with Mass Farmers Markets to bring more Central Massachusetts farmers into the event and making fresh, locally grown food more accessible in the heart of Worcester. As part of the overall festival growth, the BID is committed to providing a first-class experience for all vendors, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to succeed.

“We’re excited to invite vendors from across the region to join us for this expanded Out to Lunch Festival & Farmers’ Market for Summer 2025,” says Katelyn O’Brien, Executive Director of the Downtown Worcester BID. “Thanks to the Urban Agenda Grant we were awarded and our continued partnership with the City of Worcester, we’re investing in a bigger, better festival that will showcase the best of Worcester and Central Massachusetts. This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses, artists, farmers, and community organizations to be a part of it. Our team is ready to support them and help them succeed.”

“We’re thrilled to see Out to Lunch continue to grow and evolve,” says Fabian Barracks, Cultural Development Officer for the City of Worcester. “With the added programming and focus on local vendors, this year’s festival will bring even more people Downtown, creating a great opportunity for both new and returning Out to Lunch vendors.”

The Downtown Worcester BID is seeking food truck owners, food businesses, artists, crafters, makers, farmers, and non-profit organizations to apply for any or all festival dates. Applications are open now and will close on Monday, March 24, 2025. All applications will be reviewed after the application closes. Vendors will be notified if they have been approved to participate by Wednesday, April 9, 2025
