Walk-In Wednesday Vaccination Clinics at Sunnyview
Free Vaccination Clinics at Sunnyview Expo Center Open to All Individuals 18 Years and Older

OSHKOSH, Wis., April 30, 2021 – Winnebago County Health Department will be offering free walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics every Wednesday in May at Sunnyview Expo Center (500 E County Road Y, Oshkosh, WI) from 1pm-6pm.

Appointments are NOT required. Vaccination is open to all individuals aged 18 and older. The clinic will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is a 1-dose vaccination (subject to vaccine availability). Participants will be considered fully vaccinated 14 days following their vaccination.
There have been reports of a rare but increased risk of blood clots with low platelets following the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine. To date, most of these reports have been in adult women younger than 50 years old at a rate of about 7 per 1 million women vaccinated. Data has shown that the vaccine's known and potential benefits outweigh its known and potential risks. For a visual fact sheet, visit:
"We understand the importance of offering consistent days and times for our vaccination clinics, so we are excited to announce Walk-In Wednesdays throughout May at Sunnyview Expo Center," stated Doug Gieryn, Winnebago County Health Department Director/Health Officer. "Vaccination is the key to loosening up our preventative restrictions like mask wearing and social distancing."

"A brief community survey showed that after-work hours are preferred, so we are trying to fill that gap by running the clinic until 6 pm," stated Kim Goffard, Public Health Supervisor, Communicable Disease Division for the Winnebago County Health Department.

If you require assistance in scheduling your appointment, please call the Winnebago County Health Department’s COVID-19 Hotline at 920-232-3026, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you have received a vaccine within the last 14 days or have a history of an observed anaphylactic reaction to an injectable medication (if you needed epinephrine or an epi pen after an IV or injection), do not attend this clinic. We encourage you to work with your healthcare provider.

Free transportation assistance is available to individuals in Winnebago, Outagamie, and Calumet counties who need transportation or help navigating transportation options to their COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
