Zozobra Tickets Still Only $10, Kids Ten & Under Free
(Santa Fe, N.M.) – The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe is thrilled by the support and response we are receiving from our entire New Mexico community as we approach the 92nd Burning of Zozobra on Friday, September 2, 2016.
The access points to Fort Marcy Park have been simplified by consolidating them on the Old Taos Highway to reflect the bridge closures in Fort Marcy Park. The streamlined plan allows the Kiwanis to maintain the traditional ticket price of $10 per person, with kids 10 and under free.
There is an understandable but untrue rumor afloat about a free Zozobra viewing area.
We are committed to keeping our ticket prices at the affordable $10 per person, with kids ten and under free, but we are a non-profit engaged in a fund-raising activity, the Burning of Zozobra. It is our hope to complete the burn as we have since 1964, with net proceeds that go back to improve our community in the form of grants, scholarships, and activities for kids.
The Kiwanis Club offers our sincere thanks to everyone who joins with us, in person or virtually, in ridding the year of gloom in the historic way, at the 2016 Burning of Zozobra!
