YUCCA VALLEY, CA (January 03, 2022) - On September 23, 2021, the Governor signed SB 155 into law. The law includes a provision that extended the prohibition of water service shutoffs due to nonpayment until December 31, 2021. To provide our customers ample time to make payments for outstanding balances, Hi-Desert Water District will resume water service shutoffs along with associated fees for accounts more than 60 days past due starting on February 28, 2022. We encourage you to make every attempt to pay your water bill on time.
