New Voting Machines
The Camden County Board of Elections & Registration (BoER) is working with the Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division to inform voters about the new voting machines. This is the first state-wide voting machine update since 2002.

Board of Commissioners Reorganization
At a special called meeting, the Camden County Board of Commissioners elected a Chair and Vice-Chair for 2020. Each year before their first meeting, the Board of Commissioners selects the Chair and Vice-Chair of the County Commission to serve a one-year term. Commissioner Jimmy Starline was elected as Chair and Commissioner Gary Blount was elected as Vice-Chair for 2020.

Camden County Releases 2019 Annual Report
The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to release their 2019 Annual Report. This report summarizes several accomplishments achieved by Camden County government during 2019.


Board of Commissioners Adopts Legislative Priorities
At their January 14, 2020, regular meeting, the Camden County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the 2020 State Legislative Priorities for Camden County. This list, created with guidance from staff and the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), details legislative concerns in which the county has a vested interest. 


Public Notice: Harriett's Bluff Road Maintenance
Beginning on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, work will begin on Harriett’s Bluff Road to improve storm water drainage and reduce possible hydroplaning. This work will stretch the entirety of Harriett’s Bluff Road and may last for up to five (5) business days.

Office Closures
Camden County Offices and Courts are closed today, Monday, January 20, 2020, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Offices and Courts will re-open with regular hours tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

Camden County Curbside Collection and Landfills will maintain a regular schedule.
