How to Prevent Cybersecurity Attacks

Danika Brinda, PhD, RHIA, CHPS, HCISSP from Fulcrum Health presents a session on Information Security. Disclosure of Ownership and Cultural Competency Requirement

In accordance with regulatory requirements of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations, all payors, including Fulcrum Health, Inc. (Fulcrum) must collect and maintain information regarding disclosure of ownership and management information and cultural competency from providers in its network on an annual basis. Click here to access the Cultural Competency online form. Cultural competency training is best practice for all clinics regardless of state. However, it is a regulatory requirement for MN providers. Diagnosis Inconsistent with Procedure Claim Denials

Fulcrum Health revised the claims processing system on medical necessity edits for CMT. The system edits did not apply as intended and are currently being reviewed by Fulcrum. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Claims that were incorrectly denied during the time period of 01/01/2022 – 02/08/2022 due to “Diagnosis Inconsistent with Procedure”, will be reprocessed. We estimate this review and reprocessing effort will be completed by the end of April 2022. If you have questions on a specific claim, please contact Fulcrum Provider Services at (877) 886-4941, and select option 1, and then listen to the prompts for your specific claim type.

ChiroCare Centers of Excellence (CCoE) Online Application Acceptance for Year 2023

We are now accepting applications from ChiroCare network providers who believe their clinics meet the Centers of Excellence criteria. The application period has been extended to May 14, 2022. Fulcrum is excited to announce that the CCoE Self-Assessment, Application, and Attestation can now be completed online for administrative ease. Please log into fulcrumproviderportal.com, go to Learning Hub tab and then the CCoE tab to access the necessary documents to apply. If you have completed the CCoE self-assessment and received a passing score of 20 or higher, please consider completing the CCoE application.   Current CCoE's do not need to re-apply. Verification review of records begins February 2022.   We encourage you to take a close look at the CCoE program overview. The self-assessment tool will assist with determining your readiness to apply.
