Jayne Perry, summer 2024 research intern, will present the results of her project, ‘Impact of a Cardiology/ Pharmacy Integrated GLP-1 Medication Program to Improve Cardiovascular Health,’ at the American College of Cardiology Conference on Sunday, March 30th at 10:30am.

Study Spotlight: TRANSFORM

Description

This study compares two different strategies for preventing complications related to atherosclerosis in individuals at high ASCVD risk. The usual care treats individuals based on their CV risk factors while the Cleery coronary artery disease (CAD) stage-based care strategy incorporates imaging-based evaluation for coronary atherosclerosis, algorithm-supported pharmacotherapy and personalized education.
