Study Spotlight: MARITIME-CV


Description

This study compares study medication (GLP-1) to placebo on cardiovascular outcomes in participants living with overweight or obesity and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

 

To be eligible for this study, individuals must be ≥ 45 years at screening, have a BMI ≥ 27 kg/m2 and a history of ASCVD (e.g. prior heart attack, prior stroke or symptomatic peripheral arterial disease).
