STORM ADVENTURE RACE

2025 - Here we come!

Welcome to a new year, Storm Family! Like a blank canvas, 2025 is ready for you to write your story. Years from now, will you remember that random day at work, or will you remember that day of adventure, when you and your friends challenged yourselves? We know which story we prefer.

We're kicking off the year with a reminder about prices, some reasons why Storm is great for beginners, other adventure ideas for you, and even a little Storm The Trent throwback.

See the Early Bird. BE the Early Bird.

We know you're just back after the holiday break, but it's time to take care of a little business. Registration for 2025 Storm Adventure Race opened in late November and we're excited to see how many of you have already signed up! We can't wait to see you at the Tiffin Conservation Centre on Saturday, May 24th (Long & Advanced Course) & Sunday May 25th (Short Course),

If you're thinking, "Oh, yeah, I'm absolutely going to race, I just haven't gotten around to signing up yet", well maybe this is the week, before the prices go up. EARLY registration fees end Thursday, January 9 at 11:59 pm.

Be like the bird and save some cash.

Scrolling through the pictures on our Flickr page, some of our favourites are the smiles on the faces of people new to our sport. Sometimes it's a nervous "what have I gotten myself into" prerace smile, but those still count. We've put together some reasons why Storm is a great place for beginner adventure racers to start:

Experienced course design and event management. Our short course is designed with beginners in mind. We want you to be challenged AND have a great day.

Adventure Racing is a great community. From the volunteers & staff to the other racers on course, you'll find friendly faces, cheering you on and willing to help.

Questions? We've got answers. Anything you need to know, from info, to training or gear advice, even mentoring, just ask: info@stormrace.ca and watch for details for our Virtual Q&A in late April.

Great for the 'Gram. And TikTok and Facebook. ICYMI, that post/story/reel you're going to share/drop about your IRL adventure? FTW. Storm is bussin. It will alter your brain chemistry. No cap.

(Editor's note: I have no idea what I just typed)

You. Can. Do. This. Some hiking, some biking, some paddling and following a map. You can do that, right? It all adds up to your BEST day out this May. We promise.
