Weekly Learning Supplemental School

The Jewish learning program for children ages 7-11 meets weekly on Sunday mornings beginning September 15 at a central location. Sessions are 2.5 hrs, starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 12:30 p.m. We will be including Jewish music in our curriculum as well. An optional Hebrew-language component is available from 9:15-9:45 a.m.

This year our innovative program will focus on the roles of women in Jewish history. Sessions are organized to familiarize the children with our vibrant tradition of Torah study.  Class Schedule

We are now accepting registrations for the fall session.  We are offering an early bird fee for the fall session of $495*.   The deadline for registration and payment for the early bird fee is Tuesday, June 18, 2019.  The regular fee for the fall session of the School is $595*.  Limited spaces available.  A 5% sibling discount is available for families who have registered at least one child at full fee either in the fall school session or the 2019/2020 Bnei Mitzvah Enrichment sessions.

BneiMitzvah
Bnei Mitzvah (Grades 6+) Program

Our next  b'nei mitzvah  program will begin in the autumn of 2019, when we will welcome a small cohort of candidates. This is a year-long series of classes, excursions and socializing that usually precedes the young person becoming a bar or bat mitzvah with Shir Libeynu.   The classes and sessions run mainly on Sunday mornings, at a central location. The  cost   for this year's  learning enrichment program  is $800*
Registration deadline for the 2019/2020 program is Sunday, June 16th, 2019.
Families who wish their children to  become a bar or bat mitzvah  with Shir Libeynu must enroll them in this program well in advance of the ceremony.
Our administrator,  Natalie Wallachcan help you with any questions about the supplementary school, the enrichment sessions and also walk you through the steps necessary to booking and planning a bar/bat mitzvah simcha with the shul (one-year learning program is a pre-requisite before having a simcha with our shul).    [email protected] .
*There is a slightly higher registration cost for programs paid for by PayPal (credit card).
