Every day, Serrans live out our mission of fostering and affirming vocations to the priesthood and religious life. But our impact doesn't have to end with us — it can extend for generations, through the simplest of gestures: a few sentences in your will.
August is National Make-A-Will Month, and it's the perfect moment to ask yourself a meaningful question: how do I honor my dedication and service to vocations through Serra International and what kind of legacy do I want to leave?
A bequest to the Serra International Foundation is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to answer that call. It costs nothing today, it can be changed at any time, and it comes "off the top" of your taxable estate — often with significant tax advantages for your family.
Including the Foundation in your will can be as simple as adding one of these lines:
- I give ____% of my estate to the Serra International Foundation.
- I give the remainder of my estate to the Serra International Foundation.
- I give $____ to the Serra International Foundation.
By naming the Foundation in your estate plans and letting us know, you'll also be welcomed into the St. Junipero Legacy Society, joining fellow Serrans who have made this same lasting commitment to fostering vocations for years to come.
