Parent Survey
For grant purposes, Meridian School is being asked to share parental involvement in meetings for the 2020-2021 school year. We would appreciate your help in filling out the form below noting which, if any, meetings you have attended this year via Zoom.

We know it may be hard to remember (do I even know what I had for breakfast this morning?), but we appreciate your help!

Take a minute to fill out the survey. Thank you!
Asynchronous Learning Dates

We have planned four asynchronous learning dates for the spring semester to give teachers a chance to catch up on the additional workload this year has brought.

While there's a chance dates might change, given the nature of the pandemic and any cooresponding regulatory updates from the Texas Education Agency, we plan on the following dates to include asynchronous learning:

  • Friday, January 29
  • Friday, February 12
  • Friday, March 5
  • Friday, April 30

We ask that students stay home if possible on these dates. If, however, your child needs to be on campus that day, we will have staff onsite to monitor students while they complete work via their individual devices. We will follow up closer to each date with additional information.
Health and Safety Reminder
As always, it takes our community working together to maintain our health and safety.

Thank you for continuing to remind your students to wear masks over the nose and mouth at all times, and encouraging frequent hand washing/sanitizing. Remind students not to share food or beverages, as well.

We follow the CDC's guidelines for quarantine instructions. Anyone who has been in sustained contact for 15 minutes (within 6 feet) with a person who has tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19, with or without masks on, will be asked to stay home and quarantine.

Our nursing staff work as contact tracers to quickly identify and notify people thought to have come in contact with positive cases.

You can find updated information on positive cases on our COVID-19 information page.
